Hosting Services Technical Support Specialist
Job Location: Boston
ANAQUA is looking for highly motivated Hosting Services Technical Support Specialist who is eager to help us grow quickly. The ideal candidate is responsible for performing administrator functions for the various server and network technologies used throughout the company, and provide day-to-day desktop computer hardware and application support to all employees. The ideal candidate should be able to drive efforts internal to Anaqua to create software, service, and support solutions that are appropriately designed for client specific hosting environments. In addition the this perosn is responsible for tracking and managing the software development cycle and planning how upgrades and patches will quickly and effectively be deployed to benefit Hosting Services clients.
Responsibilities/Requirements include but not limited to:
- Direct oversight and coordination of the production hosting facilities to assure optimum performance and 24x7x365 uptime
- Work to outline specific Service Levels that should be met by the Hosting Services Product.
- Work in collaboration with Support to identify all client issues that cannot be resolved via normal procedures.
- Work with client to identify core business issues that are key to Hosting cases and determine the best course of action to resolve.
- Formalize Hosting Services Change requests and suggestion processes.
- Work with Product Development to understand dependencies between applications that integrate with one another.
- Provide “Help Desk” user support for firm-wide data and voice communication environment, including issues with Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003/2007 and other software applications, printing, network connectivity, antivirus and antispyware support, general PC hardware configuration & troubleshooting, support for Blackberry devices.
- Track Product Developments release schedule for major upgrades of software.
- Analyze and communicate network needs for design and planning of new hosting services
- Perform daily server administration tasks in Microsoft and VMware server environment, including backup, antivirus, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SSL VPN, iSCSI storage management, firewall, user account maintenance, Exchange & SQL server maintenance, monitoring and maintenance of off-site disaster recovery plan and equipment.
- Manage and support IT projects as needed. Effectively communicate with outside vendors and consultants to minimize downtime of supported applications.
- Configure and install new PC and printer equipment. Perform hardware and software upgrades on existing equipment, as necessary. Maintain internal and mobile telephone equipment, copiers, and fax equipment. Provide user support for this equipment as necessary upgrade process and procedures for each hosted product.

Skills & Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years progressive IT support experience as well as experience supporting a hosting environment.

Intellectual Property Paralegal
Job Location: Boston
Anaqua is a market leading intellectual asset management system. As part of the system, ANAQUA contains a sophisticated rules base workflow engine. This workflow engine models the legal and business processes of our clients.
The person in this role will be responsible for the on-going development of these processes, incorporating industry best practice into the workflows for both law firms and corporations. In the role, he/she will have client contact and must be able to develop strong internal and external relationships.
Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Advising on changes to the workflows in ANAQUA, arising either from a change in regulatory requirements or developments in best practice.
- Changing the workflows in ANAQUA to incorporate the changes.
- Working with clients advising them on how to gain maximum advantage from automating custom business processes using the workflow engine.
- Training internal and external staff on how the workflow engine functions and can be used to best advantage
- Extending the workflows into best practice for agreements and conflicts / litigation
- Willingness to travel internationally, on occasion
Skills & Experience:
- Fluent in French, including ability to accurately translate English to French
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an international Intellectual Property department
- Good general knowledge of IP laws and procedures for both patents and trademarks in use around the world
- Some contract management experience
- Good computer literacy and understanding of IP databases (in terms of usage)
- Training ability/experience

Project Manager
Job Location: Boston
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for translating vision, strategy and business process into a conceptual solution and implementation plan. The PM is accountable for managing the implementation of projects including defining project scope, managing escalation issues, timelines and appropriate resource, costs, and communications as necessary to ensure implementation is on time and within budget for overall project success. The successful PM will possess a business user presence and experience in business systems integration and managing large projects and software implementation in client-facing roles.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing the creation of all project deliverables, including the requirements for phase one of the project, as well as an overall roadmap with technical recommendations for the entirety of the project. As part of this work, this individual may need to lead requirements gathering sessions and/or documentation review sessions. He/she will oversee the revision of draft deliverables, and will ensure ultimate client satisfaction and approval of those deliverables. He/she will also lead an executive summary presentation of our project's findings. He/she will also need to update delivery executives and others regularly as to status and budget.
Requirements include but not limited to:
- BS/BA, MS and/or PM Certification from recognized institution
- Equivalent relevant work experience

Technical Support/Jr. Developer Associate

Position Overview:
ANAQUA is seeking a highly motivated entry-level Technical support/Jr.Developer associate who is eager to help us grow quickly. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate experienced in and committed to the field of Technical Support. The candidate should be a team player with strong communication skills, experience in providing customer support and strong technical skills in the Microsoft platform including SQL Server, Visual Basic, and ASP. Aptitude to troubleshoot issues, identify workarounds and solutions, as well as juggle several tasks at a time is required.
The position includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting remotely and possibly onsite at client locations and providing clients with directions and assistance for their product related issues. This position is located in our Boston office.
Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:
- Performing functional, integration, performance, stress and load testing.
- Reviewing/ inputting to user documentation
- Reviewing/ inputting on DEV releases to QA
- Assisting with builds when necessary
- Assisting with customer beta tests as necessary
- Working with development team to validate/ review requirements and functional specifications to create test cases and test plans.
- Help code and generate hot fixes as need
- Monitor support queue

Skills & Experience:

Sales Engineer
Job Location: Boston Preferred
Anaqua is currently looking for a highly motivated team focused sales engineer to join our company at a very exciting time. The Sales Engineer is the primary product expert for the field sales team. The Sales Engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for Anaqua’s products and services. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate and demonstrate how Anaqua’s products meet business user needs as well as address technology issues. He or she must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales-cycle.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations, including data preparation and reports
- Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
- Prepare responses to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Forward customer requirements to Product Management teams
- Able to travel throughout sales territory.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology. He or she must be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a software vendor with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Need to be organized and analytical, and be able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. 3-5+ years relevant experience in software sales
- Experience in the intellectual property domain is strongly preferred
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
- Must be prepared for extensive travel.
