“I had an all round experience, participating in testing and some QA process initially, followed by my involvement in developing and enhancing reports for the next release of Anaqua. I have been able to master the reporting software of Microsoft and also work extensively with MSSQL for back-end of the reports. It was a good experience, working with everyone and there is a lot of energy and drive to do better, which calls for a good work atmosphere.”

“I have done a variety of office jobs (answering the phone, faxing, inventory, mailing, booking flights), daily web traffic reports and record keeping of those reports, company research, performing various Salesforce projects. It has helped me to get a sense of the business environment, how people work, talk, and express themselves. Meeting new people is a plus because it allows you to see their perception of the business world and how they are coping with it. It is worth mentioning that the people at Anaqua are extremely intelligent, down to earth, helpful which is sometimes rare to find. Anaqua allows interns to grow at their own pace, which allows interns to learn at their own pace as well."
“I started off as a receptionist with marketing and sales responsibilities. I did a lot of marketing research and data entry. I spent a few months researching and implementing a time tracking system for the company and delivery team. I also spent a large chunk of time as the executive assistant, maintaining the CEO’s calendar and coordinating meetings and trips.
Currently I am the finance assistant and I work in QuickBooks, entering the expense reports, pulling comparative reports, reconciling the bank statements, and maintaining the time tracking system.
I have learned more here then most internships would allow. Because the company is small, I’ve had hands on experience in all my areas of interest. They assign you more thought provoking tasks then filing and copying.
You get to know the whole team on a first name basis and speak directly to the executives. I’ve improved my communication skills through these daily exchanges and even had several opportunities to present my work in company wide meetings.
