The foundation of the system provides services used by all modules:
- A collaborative workflow engine which manages tasks and alerts generated either by users or the law engine covering IP laws in 190+ jurisdictions
- A database containing all business, legal and technical information about the IP with a built-in document library and email management system
- Business administration tools for system configuration of roles and security permissions as well as client-specific business processes
- A flexible reporting system with a suite of standard reports and tools to build additional custom and ad hoc reports.
The system is completely web-based and accessible from a standard Internet Explorer browser with no need for plug-ins, downloads or any desktop installation. ANAQUA is built using the Microsoft technology stack, including the SQL Server database and Microsoft .NET Framework. Anaqua is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
