The Power of Community

Transcription

The community has grown so quickly and exponentially. One of the slides on the initial presentations this morning was Ford and BIT, Microsoft, Kimberly-Clark, Coca Cola, and then it just zoomed out all these different companies. They're varied sources of business globally, some are domestic. Pharmaceutical companies, intellectual property companies, automotive companies, apparel companies. Everybody seems to be able to find a way to manage their intellectual properties with Anaqua. To get with the community and hear how a pharmaceutical company maximizes Anaqua for their patent department and how that might be applied to the beverage industry, we have a lot more in common than we realize. It's amazing.

We've talked to the user community about the use of addition fields and here and there just to ensure that the direction that we might be taking is the right one. We've benchmarked with Ingersoll Rand a few years ago; they have a similar practice to ours. We shared some experiences there. I think they benefited from that, and we've been open to exchanging things with the user community to support questions that they have. I'm not always the one answering the questions, but we make ourselves available whenever you guys ask us to. The more that we can help others to make more use of Anaqua, the better it is for everybody, the more they'll have ideas to make improvements, which ultimately benefits everybody.

This community is very close-knit. The times that we get together for, breaks, dinner, whatever, you hear a lot of laughter. We don't really know each other, but it automatically goes to, "I need to ask you a question. I heard you talking to so-and-so, and I have a question about how do you do this or that, or how do you manage the huge number of users you have, or about your reporting." That's what they want to talk about. How do you manage Anaqua? As a matter of fact, we were the first to leave dinner last night at 9 pm, and people were still going strong. It was all about Anaqua. How long have you been in? How do you use this? We're looking at starting this module. You don't have to ask them to do it, they just do it natural. It was great.
